Over the last 15 years, I have helped more than one hundred small businesses with their tax and accounting needs. I have worked with businesses of all sizes, from brand new start-ups to fortune 500 companies. I have experience in a vast range of sectors including retail, restaurants, contstruction, real estate, non-profits, government, and many more.
My wife, Lindsay and I live on a farm in Shelby County, KY. We have 9 dogs, 7 cats, and 200 sheep. We like to spend time with our animals but you may also find us playing pickleball at the park.

All Services Performed by a CPA from Start to Finish
Do you know who is actully preparing your tax returns or bookkeeping? The current big trend in the accounting industry is to outsource preparation tasks to workers in India and surrounding countries. I don’t use any foreign hiring agencies for my services. In fact, all services are performed by a CPA from start to finish. If you hire a CPA to do your taxes, make sure a CPA is actually the one doing your taxes.
Data Security
Do you know who your CPA is sharing your data with? You may be surprised! As mentioned above, if your firm is using any oursourced foreign labor, they are also giving them access to all your personal information. They might be able to login to your bank without you knowing. All my clients information is stored on a local server that only I have access to. Clients are also given access to a secure portal to transmit private documents.
